Belle Ewart Eruv
The Belle Ewart Eruv is overseen by its Rav Hamachshir, Rabbi Akiva Steinmetz and maintained by the Rabbonim of Halacha Institute of Toronto (H.I.T.). The eruv is checked every week to ensure that it is kosher and may be used on Shabbos. The status of the eruv will be reported throughout the summer months each Friday on the H.I.T. website. You can also check the status of the eruv by calling the Eruv Hotline.

The Boundaries
South border
- On Arnold St. the Eruv ends on the north side of the street. One may not carry on Arnold St.
- On Robinson St. the Eruv ends on the north side of the Street. One may not carry on Robinson St.
- On Chapman St. the Eruv ends on the south side of the street. One may carry on Chapman St.
- On Little Cedar Ave the Eruv ends on the south side of the street. One may carry on Little Cedar Ave.
West border
- On Ewart St. the Eruv ends on the west side of the street (opposite the Shul). One may carry on [wart St.
East border
- On Goldie St. the Eruv ends on the west side. One may not carry on Goldie St.
- On Frederik St. the Eruv ends on the east side of the street. One may carry on Frederik St.
- On Chapman St. the Eruv ends with a string. It does not allow a person to carry all the way to the water
- On Alfred St. the Eruv ends on the east side of the street. One may carry on Alfred St.
- On Little Cedar Ave the Eruv ends on the east side of the street. One may carry on Little Cedar Ave.
North border
- On Little Cedar Ave the Eruv ends with a string beginning at address 1027 and crossing at an angle to address 1028.
- On Trombley St. and Claver St. the Eruv ends on the north side of these streets. One may carry on these streets.
- On Ewart St. the Eruv ends with a string by Claver St.
Maple Eruv
- The Maple Eruv extends down Maple Road until address 1325 Maple Road.
